I’m Naomi, a dietetic student at the University of British Columbia. I am currently completing my ten-month dietetic internship -the very last step in my training to become a registered dietitian.
The world of nutrition and health can be confusing, filled with conflicting views and shady advice. From Instagram to fitness blogs, ‘wellness’ can feel like it’s reserved only for those who live in an elite world of acai bowls and green juice (nothing wrong with either!). Through this blog, I hope to help you embed ‘living well’ in the everyday. It’s not about being perfect, but doing what you can to feel good.
Combining my knack for creativity and desire to promote evidence-based nutrition, this blog is a documentation of my thoughts on nutrition, wellbeing, and everything in between. In addition to this blog, I’ve written online content for several publications including Darling Magazine, UBCfyi, and UBC Healthy Minds, which you can check out below.
Thank you so much for reading!
